The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The services sassa status check place established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all clients and enhance use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
